John Greene was 82 years young when he passed. He was a native of Tulsa, Oklahoma and a long time member of Mobile, Alabama.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John H. And Virgina Greene and his wife of 36 years, Shirley.
Surviving family members are his son, Jeff (Melissa) Greene, daughter Misty (Bobby) Pilot. And his sister, Linda (Vic) Franch. He has seven grandchildren; Tony Greene, Amber Greene, Brittany Pinkard, Devon Pilot, Bethany Pilot, Ravin Pilot and Ashton Hardy. He also has nine great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
He was an avid pool player and enjoyed the many friendships that he made through playing pool. He's retired from the Mobile Police Department as a dispatcher. He also retired from the John Greene Company owned by his dad. He was a Navy Veteran and forever patriotic. Viewing will be Wednesday April 27th from 1-2 p.m. with chapel services starting at 2.
