Johnny D. Scruggs, a native of Clarke County, AL and a longtime resident of Mobile County, died on Monday, June 9, 2020. He had worked for the Alabama Highway Dept. He was preceded in death by his parents, John F. and Velma Stuckey Scruggs and a brother, Ben Scruggs. He is survived by his wife, Delon Gipson; a daughter, Leslie Scruggs; one sister, Penny Henderson; three grandchildren and other relatives. Graveside services will be held 0n Monday, June 15, 2020 at 2pm at Valhalla Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Monday from 11:30am to 1pm. There will be no procession to the cemetery.
