Mary Bishop

Mary Elizabeth Duck Bishop passed away at home on Friday, October 1, 2021. She is preceded in death by her husband, James B. Bishop; father, Herbert Hannis Duck; mother, Alice Jackson Duck; brother, Herbert Jackson Duck.

She is survived by her daughter, Cynthia Denise Bishop; sisters, Louise Roberts, Exer Gardner and Daisy (Mitchell) Shields; brother, Earl (Donna) Duck.

Mary was a faithful member of the Gideons National Auxillary and Woodridge Baptist Church.

Many thanks to the staff and nurses at Comfort Care Hospice and the caregiver Bonnie Salyers and good friend Sandra Langham for their help, support and encouragement.

Graveside service and interment will be held on Thursday, October 7, 2021 in Mobile Memorial Gardens at 10 am. Visitation AM until service time Thursday at the funeral home.

The family request in lieu of flowers donations maybe made to the Gideon's National Auxillary.
