William H Reid

Resident of Mobile, Alabama, William Henry Reid "Bill", age 85, passed on March 16th 2023. He was born in Turtletown, TN on September 14th 1937. He received his Bachelor of science in Civil Engineering from Mississippi State University and he retired from the Corps of Engineers. Bill enjoyed coaching, volunteer work, attending his grandchildren's events and fishing the Delta. While there wasn't a fish out there that Bill couldn't catch, his greatest catch, Alida, was always waiting for him at home.
William is preceded in death by his seven siblings; Francis Reid "France", Ernest Reid "Bud", Mariam Taylor, Eula Harmon, Russell Reid, Kenneth Reid "Duck", and Evelyn Reid.
Bill is survived by; his spouse, Alida Parker Reid of 60 years in September 2023; Children, Michael E. Reid "Mike" (Dede), Stephen H. Reid "Steve" (Sherry), Samuel E. Reid, Sr. "Eddie" (Junelle), Russel W. Reid "Rusty" (Kellie); Grandchildren, Matthew Reid, Joseph Reid, Catherine Reid, Andrew Maguire, Grace Reid, Emily Reid, Samuel Reid, Jr., Lucy Reid, Anna Parker Reid, Joey Reid, Tucker Reid; Siblings & In-Laws, Jean Reid Hughes, sister, John Hughes,
brother-in-Law and Agnes Parker Reid, sister-in-law.
Services will takes place at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 6300 McKenna Dr, Mobile, AL 36608. On Tuesday, March 21st, 2023 at 12 P.M. A visitation before will be held Tuesday, March 21st, 2023 at 11 A.M. until service time. Burial will follow at Pine Crest West Cemetery, 1599 Snow Rd, Mobile, AL 36695.
