Willie Todd

Willie Joyce Todd, a native of Waynesboro, MS and longtime resident of Axis, AL, died Saturday, October 26, 2019 at the age of 75. Joyce was formerly employed in the accounting department of USA Medical Center and, in her leisure time, enjoyed horseback riding and dancing. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard Malachi Todd and Mattie Virginia Hurst Todd; her son, Thomas Jay Couch; her sister, Virginia Todd Chadwell; her brother, Leonard E. “Digger” Todd and her canine companion, Zydeco. Her survivors include her son, Joel Couch; two brothers, James Todd and Alton Todd; two grandchildren, Ronnie Couch and Tommy Couch; several great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends. Special thanks are extended to her niece, Susan Rodgers, and her brothers, James and Alton Todd, for their love and support through this difficult time. Funeral services will be held Friday, November 1, 2019 at 12:00 Noon from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday morning from 10:00 AM until service time. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
