Mama to her children, Granny to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, “Joan, honey, sweetheart to our Dad her Beloved Husband. These are the names of the one we surrendered to God on February 17th, 2020.

Mom was preceded in everlasting life by Dad on November 4, 2019. She leaves behind many hearts that lover dearly; two sons, eight grandchildren, and eighteen great-grandchildren.

She loved all of us but more importantly, she loves Jesus and his Word. That was in the forefront of every decision she and Dad made. Being very active in church and Sunday School she leaves behind loved ones we cannot fathom.

She has been predominately a homemaker, but she also contributed to the house economically when it was needed. She has been a keypunch operator at the advent of the computer age, a school administrator, teacher, salesclerk.

She will be missed by all, but we are comforted to know that she is Eternally with our dad and their Heavenly Father.

Visitation will be held Friday, February 21, 2020, from 12:00-2:00 pm with funeral services following at 2:00 pm at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Burial will be at Mobile Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
